Pay per hour: $9.50 / hr

Qualifications

A responsible and reliable Christian male or female 18 or older (non-smoker) with own transportation and good driving record. Background checks will be done. Must be dependable.

Duties

Transport and interact with a 24 year old male with autism at work, at home, and in the community; working on communication, independence, and recreational/leisure skills.

The home setting may include assisting w/household chores, cooking, baking, odd jobs, personal hygiene (wash face, comb hair, brush teeth, deodorant, shave, etc.) table games, shooting baskets, computer games, crafts, music, etc.

Community activities could include Special Olympics activities, miniature golf, bowling, walking, tandem bicycling, running, basketball, softball, swimming, shopping, vacuuming at the church, walking the neighbor's dog, etc.

Duties could also include helping to successfully interact in group settings such as church functions and other group activities with age appropriate peers.
